Picking A Guitar – short film
Years ago, around 2011, I was walking around Athens during the financial crisis, and I had an idea. That night I wrote a screenplay for a short film. And I put it in my pocket and forget about it for 13 years. Then in 2024, a good soul introduced me to two student film-makers. I dusted down the script, and we made a short film ‘Picking A Guitar’.
Hats off to the very talented co-director Felipe Candido de Brito. That’s the wonderful Adrian Crowley in the poster….. and there are also mighty performances by Abraham Shomefun and Keavan Jones.
I then sent it off to about 40 film festivals, and we were selected for screening four during 2025. Indeed, we were lucky enough to win a couple of prizes.
